About BestMedsHub: How We Compare Health & Wellness Providers

About BestMedsHub
BestMedsHub is an independent, advertising-supported consumer health and wellness comparison platform. We help consumers compare licensed healthcare providers, telehealth services, prescription-medication platforms, and wellness products side by side — so they can have better-informed conversations with their own doctors and pick the service that fits their needs and budget.
BestMedsHub is not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, or telehealth service. We do not prescribe, dispense, or diagnose. Every medication, treatment, or service compared on our site is offered by a third-party, independently licensed healthcare provider or retailer — we simply give consumers a single place to compare them.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make it easier for people to navigate a confusing and often opaque healthcare marketplace. We do this by publishing clear, honest, side-by-side comparisons of the providers and products available to U.S. consumers, backed by a transparent review methodology and plain-English explanations of how treatments work, what they cost, and what to ask your doctor about them.
What We Do
- Provider Comparisons: Side-by-side comparisons of U.S. telehealth platforms, weight-loss programs, mental-health services, hair-loss and ED platforms, and more — ranked by our editorial scoring methodology.
- Medication & Treatment Guides: Plain-English overviews of FDA-approved medications (such as GLP-1 weight-loss drugs), always with the clear instruction that a prescription decision belongs to your licensed prescriber.
- State Coverage Pages: Availability and pricing information organized by U.S. state, since telehealth rules vary state-by-state.
- Educational Guides: Research-backed articles on common health topics, written for a general consumer audience.
Our Editorial Team
BestMedsHub’s content is produced by a multi-disciplinary editorial team:
- Health writers with backgrounds in journalism, health communication, and public health — responsible for drafting articles and comparison write-ups.
- Editors who review every article for clarity, accuracy against primary sources, and adherence to our editorial policy.
- Medical reviewers — licensed U.S. physicians (MD/DO) and pharmacists who review clinical and medication-related content before publication.
- Fact-checkers who verify factual claims against peer-reviewed literature, FDA labeling, manufacturer information, and primary provider sources.
Every article that discusses medication, treatment, dosage, side effects, or clinical outcomes is reviewed by a licensed medical reviewer before publication, and is re-reviewed on an annual cadence or whenever a material change (such as new FDA labeling) occurs.
For a full description of how we research, write, review, correct, and update content, see our Editorial Policy.
Our Editorial Standards
- We research every topic against reputable primary sources — FDA, CDC, NIH, peer-reviewed journals, and primary provider documentation.
- Ratings and rankings are determined independently by editors. Advertisers cannot buy a rating or a better score.
- We clearly disclose every advertising and affiliate relationship that could produce compensation.
- We correct errors promptly and publicly, and we date every article with its last-reviewed timestamp.
- We keep editorial and commercial functions organizationally separate.
How We Make Money
BestMedsHub is free for consumers. We are supported by affiliate and referral fees from some of the providers featured on our site. If you click a link to a partner and sign up or make a purchase, we may be paid a referral fee at no additional cost to you. This compensation may affect which providers are featured and how they are ranked, but our editorial team evaluates every provider against the same criteria. For full details see our Advertising Disclosure.
