Our Editorial Mission

BestMedsHub exists to help consumers understand, compare, and make better-informed decisions about their health and wellness options. This Editorial Policy explains how our content is researched, written, reviewed, fact-checked, corrected, and updated, and how editorial decisions are kept independent from our commercial relationships.

Who Writes and Reviews Our Content

Every piece of health content published on BestMedsHub is produced by a multi-disciplinary team:

Health writers — journalists and health-communication specialists who draft comparison write-ups, articles, and guides.
Editors — experienced editors who review every piece for clarity, accuracy against primary sources, and alignment with this Editorial Policy before publication.
Medical reviewers — licensed U.S. physicians (MD/DO) and licensed pharmacists who review any content that discusses medication, dosage, side effects, clinical outcomes, or treatment decisions.
Fact-checkers — verify specific factual claims against FDA labeling, peer-reviewed literature, CDC/NIH publications, and primary provider documentation.

We do not publish medication, dosing, or clinical-decision content without prior review by a licensed medical reviewer, and we date every article with its last-reviewed timestamp.

How We Source Information

We prioritize primary sources and recognized authorities, in roughly this order:

U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) — labeling, prescribing information, and safety communications.
Peer-reviewed medical and pharmacy literature (PubMed-indexed).
U.S. federal health agencies — CDC, NIH, NIMH, HRSA, etc.
Professional medical associations (e.g., AAFP, AMA, APA).
Direct documentation from the telehealth platforms, pharmacies, and manufacturers we compare — including their published clinical protocols, pricing pages, and regulatory filings.

We avoid citing non-peer-reviewed or commercially-produced content as a primary source for clinical claims.

How We Evaluate and Rank Providers

Every provider on BestMedsHub is scored on a consistent 0–10 scale across the same set of dimensions, applied equally regardless of any commercial relationship:

Clinical credibility — licensing, physician availability, medical oversight, and regulatory compliance of the platform.
Pricing transparency — how clearly consumer costs (consultation, subscription, medication) are disclosed upfront.
Safety and privacy practices — HIPAA posture, data handling, and medication-safety safeguards (e.g., drug interaction screening).
Accessibility — state availability, hours, response time, and ease of booking.
Patient experience — real-world user feedback, complaint patterns, and refund/cancellation practices.
Value — pricing relative to what is offered and compared to category peers.

Scores are assigned by our editorial team. They are not for sale and cannot be influenced by advertising spend.

Editorial Independence

BestMedsHub is advertising-supported. We may receive affiliate or referral compensation from some providers featured on the site. We keep editorial and commercial functions organizationally separate, and our Editorial Policy is binding on editors regardless of any commercial relationship. Specifically:

Advertisers do not receive advance review of ratings, rankings, or articles.
Advertisers cannot purchase a specific score, ranking position, “editor’s pick,” or favorable language.
Where a commercial relationship exists with a provider discussed in an article, we disclose it on the page and in our Advertising Disclosure.

Corrections and Updates

We take factual accuracy seriously. If we publish something that turns out to be incorrect, we update it and make the correction visible:

Typos and minor clarifications: fixed silently.
Factual corrections: fixed, and the article’s “last updated” timestamp is refreshed. Material corrections are noted in the article.
Medication or clinical claims: re-reviewed by a medical reviewer before republication.

Refresh Cadence

Comparison pages and medication guides are reviewed on at least a 12-month cadence, and immediately whenever we become aware of a material change — such as a new FDA-approved indication, an updated black-box warning, a pricing change on a featured platform, or a provider exiting a state market.

BestMedsHub is not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, or telehealth service. The content on this site is educational and comparison-oriented and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. User-Submitted Content and Reviews

When we include user feedback (patient reviews, survey quotes, customer satisfaction data), we source it from disclosed channels and we do not alter quoted language to make a provider look better or worse. Individual reviews reflect the experience of the person writing them and are not a guarantee of any clinical outcome.

Advertising and Sponsored Content

We do not publish “advertorials” or sponsored articles styled to look like editorial reviews. Any paid placement on the site (where it exists) is clearly labeled as advertising or sponsored. Affiliate links are disclosed site-wide on our Advertising Disclosure and, where relevant, on individual pages.
